Holidays with dogs

We are in full summer and there are many families looking for places to spend the holidays with their dogs in summer.

We will try to give you some ideas that can be useful for you so that the whole family can enjoy those deserved days off without having to leave Spain.

Beaches for dogs

Possibly the beach is the first destination to spend a summer vacation. Fortunately, there are more and more coastal areas that allow pets to bathe and that allows us to avoid the sad process of seeking a shelter for your furry before leaving for a trip.

If we zoom the map, we can see that there are beaches to spend your holidays with dogs all over the Spanish coast, from south to north, passing through the entire Mediterranean coast and even the two island groups: Balearic and Canary Islands.

Rural Tourism

If your family is one of those who prefer to flee from the crowds to quieter destinations and in contact with nature, it is much easier to spend a holidays with dogs.

Normally, the owners of rural houses do not give special objection to families with pets, and if so, the temperature of the summer season allows you to spend the night outside without problems.

In addition, any hiking route will allow you to be accompanied by your furry. Our only recommendation is that you organize it in time for you to carry everything your 4-legged companion may need: water, feed, any utensil or medicine you may need, etc.

And avoid the hottest hours!

Campsites

On the average, we have campsites, whether beach or mountain, the vast majority of these facilities located in national parks or tourist areas are pet friendly.

You should keep in mind that your dog is up to date on vaccinations and in the same way as in a rural getaway, it is recommended to give him the necessary medications to combat fleas and ticks so typical of outdoor life in the hottest times.

Read carefully the regulations of the campsite regarding the use of the leash or any other requirement to fully enjoy your holiday with dogs.
